This Privacy Policy explains how Dynamic QR Pro collects, uses, processes, stores, and discloses information when you visit our website, create or use an account, subscribe to the Service, communicate with us, or scan a dynamic QR code operated through Dynamic QR Pro.

This policy applies to Dynamic QR Pro websites, account services, QR redirect infrastructure, analytics, and related services, collectively, the “Service.”

1. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Dynamic QR Pro.

Account information

When you create or use an account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, account identifiers, authentication information, account status, and related account settings.

Subscription and billing information

When you purchase a subscription, our payment processor processes payment and billing information.

Stripe currently provides payment processing for Dynamic QR Pro. Dynamic QR Pro does not store complete payment card numbers.

We may receive information from Stripe such as customer identifiers, subscription status, transaction status, billing information, payment history, and information necessary to administer your subscription.

QR code and Service information

We process information you create or provide through the Service, including QR code names, destinations, design settings, short-link or redirect identifiers, status, creation and modification information, and other account configuration data.

QR scan analytics

When a dynamic QR code is scanned, Dynamic QR Pro may process information needed to provide the redirect and generate analytics.

This may include the QR code or redirect identifier, scan time, browser or user-agent information, estimated device category, operating system information, and network information necessary to process the request.

For estimated unique-scan measurement, Dynamic QR Pro may use transient network information together with information such as the QR identifier, normalized user-agent information, calendar date, and a server-side secret to create a privacy-reduced identifier.

The Dynamic QR Pro application database does not use raw IP addresses as persistent identifiers for QR scan analytics. Infrastructure, hosting, security, and networking providers may nevertheless process network information, including IP addresses, as part of ordinary request handling, security, fraud prevention, or technical logging.

Unique-scan metrics are estimates and are not intended to identify individual people.

Website and technical information

When you visit or use Dynamic QR Pro, we and our service providers may automatically process technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring pages, pages or features accessed, dates and times, error information, and interactions with the Service.

Some of this information may be collected through cookies, local storage, logs, and similar technologies.

Communications

If you contact us, respond to a survey, request support, or otherwise communicate with Dynamic QR Pro, we may collect your contact information and the contents and context of the communication.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and operate Dynamic QR Pro, create and manage accounts, authenticate users, process subscriptions and billing, operate QR redirects, generate analytics, provide customer support, communicate about accounts and subscriptions, maintain security, detect and prevent abuse or fraud, troubleshoot problems, enforce our Terms, comply with legal requirements, improve the Service, understand Service usage, develop features, and operate our business.

We may also use account and relationship information to send product information, tips, surveys, feature announcements, promotions, or other commercial communications where permitted by applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, our processing may be based on providing the Service you requested, our legitimate business interests, consent, compliance with legal obligations, or another lawful basis.

3. Service and marketing communications

We may send communications necessary to administer your account and provide the Service, including authentication messages, billing notices, security alerts, subscription information, support responses, changes affecting the Service, and other operational communications.

Where permitted by applicable law, we may also send product updates, educational content, offers, promotions, surveys, and similar commercial communications.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the unsubscribe method included in the message.

Unsubscribing from promotional communications does not prevent us from sending communications reasonably necessary to provide, secure, bill for, or administer your account or subscription.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Dynamic QR Pro may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the website and Service.

These technologies may be used for authentication, maintaining sessions, security, fraud prevention, remembering preferences, operating account functionality, understanding Service performance, measuring usage, and improving the Service.

Cookies or storage that are necessary to provide requested functionality may be used automatically as part of the Service.

If we use non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar tracking technologies that require consent under applicable law, we will provide consent controls where required.

You may also control certain cookies through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies or browser storage may prevent parts of the Service from functioning properly.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate Dynamic QR Pro, including providers of payment processing, application infrastructure, hosting, networking, authentication, email and communications, security, monitoring, analytics, customer support, and other operational services.

Current material service providers may include OpenAI for account authentication, Stripe for subscription billing and payment processing, and Loops for certain service and email communications.

These providers may process information on our behalf or under their own terms where applicable.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government requests, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or security incidents, protect Dynamic QR Pro or other people from harm, establish or defend legal claims, or complete a business transaction such as a financing, acquisition, reorganization, merger, asset sale, or transfer of the Service.

We may disclose information at your direction or with your consent.

6. Third-party QR destinations

Dynamic QR Pro allows customers to direct QR codes to websites and other destinations that they select.

Those destinations are controlled by the customer or another third party, not Dynamic QR Pro.

When you follow a QR code to a third-party destination, that destination may separately collect information under its own privacy practices. Dynamic QR Pro is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or data practices of third-party destinations.

7. International processing

Dynamic QR Pro and its service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

As a result, information may be subject to the laws of jurisdictions outside your province, state, or country and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or government authorities in those jurisdictions where legally required.

Where required, we use appropriate measures to support lawful cross-border processing.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining account and subscription records, supporting account restoration or resubscription, maintaining security, preventing fraud, complying with legal or accounting requirements, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

QR code records, redirect identifiers, configurations, and analytics may remain associated with an account for a period after a subscription ends.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or otherwise dispose of it, subject to applicable legal, security, backup, and operational requirements.

Information may remain temporarily in backups or system logs after deletion from active systems.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

No internet service, transmission method, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for using appropriate security practices when managing your account and QR destinations.

10. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

These may include rights to request access to information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion where applicable, withdraw certain consent, object to or restrict certain processing, request information about how your information is used or disclosed, or make a complaint to an applicable privacy authority.

Some rights are subject to legal exceptions, identity verification, contractual requirements, legitimate retention requirements, or other limitations.

11. Consent

Where processing is optional and consent is legally required, you may withdraw that consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.

12. Children

Dynamic QR Pro is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children.

We do not knowingly create accounts for or solicit personal information directly from children who are not legally capable of providing valid consent under applicable law.
